Domestic Partners are eligible to participate with the same access as spouses. As a reminder when adding a domestic partner, teammates must fill out and return a notarized Domestic Partner Certification to ccrowe@valuehealth.com

This plan offers an incentive to spouses who opt-out of our medical plan by enrolling in their company’s medical insurance plan. To participate in the SpouseSaver program, spouses of participants in the medical plan must have participated in one of our medical plans or in the SpouseSaver HRA during the preceding plan year. This requirement does not apply to new hires, newly eligible teammates, or those experiencing a qualifying life event, such as marriage. Re-enrolling in this program must be done on an annual basis.
The Spouse Saver HRA may impact the ability to contribute to an HSA if an employee’s spouse enrolls in an HSA-qualified high deductible health plan. Consult a tax professional for regulations and restrictions.

Do not forget about our physician-led disease management and coaching program for participants of the medical plan who are at risk for pre-diabetes, diabetes, and obesity. This is at no cost to the teammate or eligible dependent. info.virtahealth.com/join
